Bringing Families, Educators, and Students Together

Jenn Souza is a proud mother of seven children, with three still at home, and has fostered and cared for many more. Because five of her children received special education services through IEPs in Natomas Unified, and many of the others were supported through 504 Plans, her advocacy is deeply personal.

As a parent, advocate, and longtime supporter of Natomas schools, Jenn has brought diverse families together, advocated at the Capitol, and pushed for higher standards because every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Working Together for Students

Jenn believes that when we put students at the center and work collaboratively, great things happen. As a board member, she will approach every decision by asking: Will this help our students learn, grow, and succeed? Her vision is guided by three core priorities.

💡

Fiscal Responsibility with Students at the Center

Every dollar entrusted to NUSD represents the hopes and hard work of our families, educators, and community. Jenn will be a careful and transparent steward of public funds, making thoughtful, data-informed decisions that keep students first.

🤝

Families First

Strong schools begin with strong families. Families must be listened to, treated as valued partners, and feel genuinely heard in the decisions that shape our schools.

Equity

Every child deserves access to the support, opportunities, and resources they need to thrive. Jenn will advocate for transparent, thoughtful decision-making that prioritizes every student in Natomas Unified.
